Turkey Chili Mac
Two comfort foods in one — chili and mac and cheese in a single pot.
Ingredients
- 4 oz lean ground turkey
- 1.5 oz whole wheat macaroni (dry)
- 1/2 cup black beans, rinsed
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1 tbsp shredded cheddar
Instructions
- Brown turkey in a skillet.
- Add chili powder and cumin. Stir 30 seconds.
- Add tomatoes, broth, paste, and beans. Simmer.
- Add dry macaroni. Cover and simmer 12-15 minutes.
- Top with cheddar and cover 1 minute.
