Turkey Taco Bowl

All the flavors of a taco in a healthy bowl format. Ground turkey is leaner than beef, and the black beans add fiber and plant protein. This is one of our most popular meal prep recipes!

Ingredients

  • 120g ground turkey (93% lean)
  • ½ cup cooked brown rice
  • ¼ cup black beans, rinsed
  • ¼ cup corn kernels
  • 2 tbsp salsa
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Cook brown rice according to package instructions.

  2. Brown ground turkey in a pan over medium heat, 5-6 minutes. Season with taco seasoning (chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt).

  3. Add black beans and corn to the turkey, cook 2 minutes until heated through.

  4. Assemble bowl: brown rice base, turkey mixture, shredded lettuce.

  5. Top with salsa and serve.
