Date and Nut Energy Balls

These bite-sized treats are nature’s candy. Dates provide natural sweetness and energy, walnuts add omega-3s, and cocoa brings antioxidants. No baking required — just blend, roll, and enjoy.

Ingredients

  • 10 Medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ cup walnuts
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 tbsp shredded coconut (for rolling, optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak dates in warm water for 10 minutes if they’re dry, then drain.

  2. Add dates, walnuts, cocoa powder, chia seeds, vanilla, and salt to a food processor.

  3. Pulse until the mixture forms a sticky dough that holds together when pressed.

  4. Roll into 12 balls, about 1 inch each.

  5. Roll in shredded coconut if desired.

  6. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set. Store in an airtight container.
