Pork Chops with Apples

A classic combination of savory pork and sweet caramelized apples.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz pork loin chop, boneless
  • 1 apple, cored and sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp honey
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
  2. Sear in olive oil over medium-high heat, 3-4 minutes per side.
  3. Remove pork. Add apples and onions to the pan.
  4. Cook 4-5 minutes until caramelized. Add honey and thyme.
  5. Return pork, cover, and cook 3-4 minutes until 145°F.
  6. Rest 3 minutes before serving.
