Paleo Beef Stir-Fry with Coconut Aminos

A soy-free, paleo-friendly stir-fry that swaps traditional soy sauce for coconut aminos. Lean sirloin and crisp vegetables come together fast in a hot wok for a high-protein weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz lean sirloin, sliced thin against the grain
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup sliced bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
  • 2 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp sliced scallion (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef thin against the grain and toss with 1 tsp coconut aminos. Set aside 5 minutes.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a wok over high heat until shimmering.
  3. Stir-fry the beef for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove to a plate.
  4. Add broccoli, bell pepper, and onion to the wok. Stir-fry 3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  5. Add garlic and ginger, cooking 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Return beef to the wok and pour in remaining coconut aminos and sesame oil. Toss 1 minute to coat.
  7. Garnish with scallions and serve hot on its own or over cauliflower rice.
